Narayanbali Shanti
Importance
Narayanbali Shanti is one of the most powerful and comprehensive post-death rituals in Hinduism. It combines two sacred ceremonies — Narayan Bali (for ancestral peace and liberation) and Nagbali (for removing serpent dosh and Brahmahatya dosh). This multi-day ritual is performed to free the soul from worldly bonds and help it attain moksha (liberation).
At Ramkund on the Godavari River in Panchavati, Nashik and at Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga, Narayanbali Shanti is performed with exceptional power due to the sacred energy of these locations.
What is Narayan Bali?
Narayan Bali is a ritual dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Narayan) to appease the departed soul and free it from the cycle of rebirth. It is performed when:
- The soul is stuck in the earthly realm due to unfulfilled desires
- Brahmahatya dosh (sin of killing a Brahmin) is present in the family
- The departed died unnaturally (accident, suicide, violence)
- Regular Shraddha and Tarpan have not been performed
- Severe family obstacles linked to ancestral displeasure
What is Nagbali?
Nagbali is a ritual to worship and appease the Nag Devta (serpent deities). It is performed to remove:
- Kaal Sarp Dosh: When Rahu-Ketu afflict the birth chart
- Nag Dosh: When serpent ancestors are displeased
- Sarpa Dosha: When snake-related karmic afflictions exist
- Unexplained fears: Phobias and anxieties linked to serpent karma
Three-Day Narayanbali Procedure
- Day 1 — Sankalpa & Padya Pooja: The family takes a sacred vow. Padya (foot washing) and Arghya (water offering) are performed. The Narayan Bali rituals begin with Vedic mantras invoking Lord Vishnu.
- Day 2 — Nagbali & Pind Daan: Nagbali rituals are performed with worship of Nag Devta. Pind Daan is done with rice balls offered to the departed soul. Havan preparation begins.
- Day 3 — Grand Havan & Pind Visarjan: A grand Havan (fire ceremony) with 108 offerings is performed. Nag Pooja with milk and mantras. Pind Visarjan (immersion) in the Godavari. Shanti Path concludes the ceremony.
Why Narayanbali at Ramkund & Trimbakeshwar?
- Dual Sacred Locations: We perform Narayanbali at both Ramkund (for general rituals) and Trimbakeshwar (for Jyotirlinga energy)
- Dakshinavahini Godavari: The southward-flowing river at Ramkund is supremely powerful for liberation rituals
- 150+ Years of Mastery: The Panchakshari family has performed Narayanbali for six generations with complete mastery
- Proven Results: Families report immediate peace and resolution of long-standing obstacles after Narayanbali
